Goldfish & Bay is proud to have contributed our engineering expertise to the innovative Blue & William project at 2 Blue Street, North Sydney, from its inception through to its completion.

This urban renewal masterpiece, developed by Lendlease and constructed by FDC Construction & Fitout with architectural brilliance from Woods Bagot, has transformed an industrial site into a vibrant lifestyle destination. The project harmoniously blends the charming residential streets with the bustling North Sydney CBD.

Blue & William boasts an innovative design that celebrates its unique location, offering stunning views across Sydney Harbour while seamlessly incorporating the leafy, redbrick, terracotta landscape of the surrounding suburbs. This building promotes a healthy workplace environment, focusing on natural light, biophilia, and UV filtration to foster connections with the outdoor environment at every level. Its next-generation workspaces are both flexible and connected, featuring generous private terraces and courtyards that encourage creative collaboration.

Additionally, Blue & William aspires to 5 Star Green Star and 5.5 Star NABERS Environmentally Sustainable Design (ESD) ratings, with bespoke building features that honor the heritage of Lavender Bay and North Sydney, reinforcing its commitment to sustainability.

We are proud to share that Blue & William has received high commendation at the 2024 NSW Australian Institute of Architects Award for Commercial Architecture and was a winner at the 2023 Master Builders Association of New South Wales Awards.
