Gregory Hill Primary School
NSW Department of Education
Gregory Hills
In response to the increasing demand for quality educational facilities in Gregory Hills, Goldfish & Bay has joined forces with Doolan Plumbing to deliver innovative engineering solutions for a new primary school. This project is a significant addition to the NSW Government’s ongoing investment in school infrastructure, and we are excited to play a role in shaping the future of education in this vibrant community.
The Gregory Hills Primary School, located at Gregory Hills Drive, surrounded by Wallarah Circuit and Long Reef Circuit, will accommodate approximately 1,000 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The school will feature state-of-the-art learning environments, including 44 homebases, a multi-purpose hall, a library, and extensive outdoor play areas equipped with sports courts and a playing field designed for potential community use.
Our role at Goldfish & Bay has been focused on delivering advanced engineering solutions that align with the project’s commitment to sustainability and efficiency. Working closely with Doolan Plumbing, we have been responsible for the design and implementation of hydraulic systems that ensure the school operates with optimal water management. Our systems are designed to reduce water waste, promote energy efficiency, and contribute to the school’s overall environmental goals.
The school’s design reflects a deep respect for the cultural heritage of the Dharawal land, with the motto "Connection, Collaboration, Courage" encapsulating the vision of fostering an inclusive and supportive environment. This vision has been brought to life through the combined efforts of all the teams involved. From the Bennett and Trimble & PTW architects who envisioned the space, to the builders who meticulously constructed it, to our engineering team and Doolan Plumbing, who ensured the facility's infrastructure meets the highest standards, every contributor has played a crucial role in creating spaces that not only serve the students and staff but also strengthen community ties through shared facilities.
Goldfish & Bay is proud to contribute to this significant project, showcasing our expertise in sustainable and innovative engineering practices. We look forward to seeing how our work will positively impact the Gregory Hills community and support the educational journey of its students for years to come.
