HILLS SHOWGROUND VILLAGE

Goldfish & Bay is thrilled to be providing full engineering services for the Hills Showground Village, a transformative mixed-use development that will shape the future of the Hills Showgrounds Station Precinct. This ambitious project, developed by DEICORP, combines 430 apartments with a publicly accessible plaza, retail, and commercial spaces, creating a vibrant new community in Castle Hill.

The project’s design, led by the talented team at TURNER Studio, thoughtfully integrates with the surrounding suburban architecture. The architects drew inspiration from the local environment, incorporating playful elements such as brick arches, balustrades, and metalwork details. The colors within the architecture reflect those of local endemic plant species like the Grevillea Hills Jubilee, ensuring the development harmonizes with the natural landscape and the adjacent Showgrounds.

Hills Showground Village will become the heart of the wider precinct, offering residents and visitors an active hub with fine-grain retail, a parkside dining precinct, and generous landscaped open spaces. The development features a 3-story retail podium, a light-filled market hall-like interior, and communal rooftop terraces, all designed to connect key street nodes from the metro to the adjacent Showgrounds.

A striking public art installation, including a water feature, will be located at the center of the new Doran Drive Plaza, celebrating the movement of water and adding to the dynamic public space.

As the Hills Showground Village continues to take shape, we are proud to be working alongside DEICORP and Turner Studio to deliver a project that will enrich the community and set a new standard for mixed-use developments in the region.
