Eastern Creek

The Light Horse Logistics Hub is strategically located near the M4 and M7 freeways, offering businesses seamless access to Western Sydney's major road networks and interstate B-double transit lines. This prime location ensures efficient local and national deliveries, making it a key industrial hub in the region. Spanning over 170,000 sqm of gross lettable area, the Hub provides flexible leasing options ranging from 8,500 to 19,900 sqm, featuring specialized automation fit-outs, innovative workspaces, and cutting-edge infrastructure. Additionally, sustainability is at the forefront of the development, with PV solar systems and EV charging stations integrated into the design.

Western Sydney's population is expected to exceed 3 million by 2036, driving significant economic growth and necessitating substantial infrastructure and property advancements. The Light Horse Logistics Hub has been developed to cater to these growing industrial demands, establishing itself as a flagship project in the area.

The project is characterized by a pavilion-style office building, showcasing an innovative design that supports local industries. With a strong focus on sustainability, the design incorporates biophilic elements to enhance natural connections within the workspace.

Construction efforts were led by Richard Crookes Constructions, who addressed acoustic challenges and enhanced the building's visual appeal. The project achieved an 80% reduction in embodied carbon through the use of local timber, and further minimized energy consumption by over 60% and water usage by nearly 75%, earning it a 6-Star Green Star rating.

At Goldfish & Bay, we are proud to have contributed to this project by providing hydraulic engineering solutions across three lots within the Hub. Our partnership with Doolan Plumbing played a crucial role in delivering these services, reflecting our shared commitment to innovation and excellence.

The success of the Light Horse Logistics Hub is a testament to the collaboration and expertise of the teams involved, resulting in a project that sets new standards in industrial office design and sustainability. It exemplifies the future of industrial developments, combining forward-thinking design with sustainable practices to meet the evolving needs of modern businesses.
