Building a Brighter Future: Goldfish & Bay’s Role in the Jordan Springs Public School Project

Goldfish & Bay is proud to have contributed to THE JORDAN SPRINGS PUBLIC SCHOOL project, a key initiative under the School Infrastructure NSW Pilot Program. This project, designed to address the growing demand for educational facilities across NSW.

Completed in stages from July 2020 to March 2024, Jordan Springs Public School provides up-to-date facilities for up to 600 students. The school's layout emphasizes future-focused learning spaces and sustainable principles, resulting in a distinctive architectural expression.

The design features a tall roof with generous overhangs that define the main entrance, seamlessly connecting learning buildings through covered walkways and verandas. The architecture thoughtfully incorporates elements inspired by the local environment, especially considering the significant Aboriginal student population. Interior finishes, colors, and furniture were selected in collaboration with the local community, reflecting the natural tones of rocks, rivers, vegetation, and earth. These elements extend into the landscaping, where native plants and organic forms create a harmonious connection between the school and its surroundings.

Our team delivered comprehensive hydraulic engineering solutions, ensuring the school's infrastructure is both efficient and sustainable. In close partnership with Doolan Plumbing Pty Ltd, we developed systems specifically designed to meet the school's requirements, supporting a modern learning environment for the Jordan Springs community.

The success of this project is a testament to the collaboration between GroupGSARichard Crookes Constructions, and all other teams involved. Together, we have created an educational environment that will benefit the Jordan Springs region for years to come.
