Elevating Education: Midtown Macquarie Park Primary School Takes Shape

Rebeka Zubac

Goldfish & Bay is proud to collaborate with MOECO Plumbing Services and Taylor | Australia on the Midtown Macquarie Park Primary School, an innovative education infrastructure project within the Midtown precinct redevelopment.

Designed by Architectus for NSW School Infrastructure, this six-storey vertical school will accommodate 750 students from Kindergarten to Year 6, addressing projected enrolment growth expected to triple by 2041. The contemporary design prioritises collaborative learning, outdoor education, and strong community connections.

A standout feature is the integration of play across every level of the school, creating a dynamic and engaging environment for students. The rooftop playscape includes a running track, ball game nets, table settings, and a performance stage, while lower levels feature structured play areas, outdoor classrooms, a climbing wall, and even a slide from Level 1 to the ground floor.

Our engineering team is providing hydraulic design solutions, optimising water management and sustainable infrastructure to ensure the school operates efficiently for years to come. We’re proud to collaborate with NSW Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure and the wider project team on this transformative development.
