Engineering Powerhouse: Welcoming ELIE LAOULACH to the Team!

At Goldfish & Bay, we’re excited to welcome Elie Laoulach, the newest Senior Engineer on our Electrical Team, whose journey into engineering began with an innate curiosity about how things work. Growing up in a family originally from Lebanon, Elie’s fascination with understanding, building, and problem-solving started young—whether it was taking apart his toys or tackling tricky math problems. This natural inquisitiveness eventually led him to engineering, a field that combines his love for innovation with his desire to make a tangible impact.

For Elie, engineering isn’t just a job; it’s a platform to shape the future. Reflecting on his path, he shares that if he hadn’t chosen engineering, he might have pursued construction management, another role rooted in structure and precision.  At Goldfish & Bay, he’s found the perfect balance between technical challenges and a supportive workplace culture. “What I love most about GFB is the teamwork and supportive office culture,” he says. “It’s exciting to be part of a driven team where everyone grows together.”

Elie is currently working toward his Design and Building Practitioner certification—a significant professional milestone that demonstrates his commitment to continual growth and excellence. By arranging presentations and learning sessions with industry-leading manufacturers and suppliers, he ensures not only his personal development but also that of the entire team. His personal motto, “Solving Problems, Shaping the Future,” underscores his approach: Every challenge is an opportunity to innovate.

Since joining Goldfish & Bay, Elie has drawn on his extensive experience to embrace time management, prioritization, and team dynamics as key contributors to his success—skills that enhance his adaptable and detail-oriented work style. Driven by the feedback and appreciation he receives from managers, Elie consistently brings his best to every task, aiming to make an impact through thoughtful and efficient engineering.

Outside of work, Elie’s adventurous spirit takes him off-road and into the outdoors, where he enjoys camping and exploring new trails. After a day of tackling challenges, he finds solace in unwinding with a drive and some calming music—a chance to recharge and refocus. His professional dream? To work on renewable energy power plants, a project that reflects his commitment to sustainable, forward-thinking solutions.

Please join us in welcoming Elie Laoulach to the Goldfish & Bay team! We’re excited to have his innovative spirit and dedication, and we look forward to seeing the positive impact he’ll make on our projects and beyond. Here’s to solving problems and building a future we can all be proud of.
