Last week, our electrical design team at Goldfish & Bay had the opportunity to attend a LUNCH & LEARN session with Monecc Technology, led by Kim TianJesse Chen and Yang Xue CPA focusing on intelligent building control technologies.

The session explored practical solutions across three core areas—vehicle access systems, home automation, and centralised building management—with a clear emphasis on integration, occupant comfort, and energy performance.

From ANPR-enabled vehicle entry to smart intercoms, facial recognition terminals, and automated HVAC control, the technologies discussed align with growing expectations in both residential and commercial development. Monecc’s offline-capable, edge-based systems stood out as a secure and adaptable alternative to cloud-dependent setups, offering reliable on-site performance and notable energy savings.

Lunch & Learn sessions are a key part of our culture at Goldfish & Bay. We’re proud to encourage these sessions not just for their technical insight, but because they reflect the kind of culture we’re building—one where engineers are genuinely excited to learn, ask questions, and engage with some of the best product specialists in the industry. It’s always energising to see the team so engaged, and we’re grateful to the professionals who take the time to share their expertise with us.

A big thank you to the Monecc Technology team for such an informative and engaging session.
