One standout project he’s proud of is his work on The Meat & Wine Co. SAFARI fire safety design at 2 O’Connell Street, Sydney, where he helped shape a safe, welcoming environment—a contribution that gives him a profound sense of purpose.
Staying at the forefront of his field is a priority for Jay. Through webinars, industry articles, and active participation in professional communities, he keeps pace with advancements like AI-driven fire detection systems and smart sprinklers—technologies he believes will reduce risks and enhance safety in high-stakes environments. Outside of work, Jay balances his role with hobbies that keep him inspired. He’s a passionate fisherman and baker, unwinding with movies and games when he’s not dreaming up new design concepts. If he could tackle any architectural feat, he’d create a structure inspired by World of Warcraft’s Under City, blending creativity with engineering in an ambitious way.
